#KPI Headlines:

• #KPI Excel resumes ranked by #KPI value per game (through March 3), #KPI by Team (through March 3), #KPI by Conference (through March 3). A more thorough weekly update is also available.
• Notes on Rule Changes: Note the discrepancy between #KPI and NCAA data is how games against Non D-I schools are counted (4.1% of the data)
• Xavier and Pittsburgh both fell a few spots after losses Monday night.  N.C. State moved up to No. 63 on a light night of games.
• The cut line (currently #KPI No. 53) will shrink by one spot for every bid stolen by a conference tournament champion who otherwise would not have made the field.  Remember that if the top seed of a conference tournament fails to make the NCAA Tournament, they automatically qualify for the NIT.

In 2013, teams averaged 65.3 PPG in conference tournament games (compared to 67.5 PPG in all games) with an average margin of 9.6 PPG.
